Greenwood Ridge Vineyards takes its
name from the coastal ridgetop where our grapes are grown. From eight acres planted
in 1972, our vineyard overlooking Anderson Valley has been expanded to 16 acres,
four each of White Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. At 1400'
above sea level, the rolling ridgetop property is above the fog and frost.
Greenwood Ridge Vineyards has earned a reputation for producing world class wines,
as demonstrated by its selection as one of the top 30 American wineries in three
of the last four years (Wine & Spirits Magazine) and by recent "Best of Show"
awards for six different wines.
