by Al and Boots Brounstein and established in 1968, Diamond Creek was California's
first estate vineyard to produce only Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are on
three adjoining sites, each differing in exposure and soil, and the wines are
bottled under the vineyard names: Volcanic Hill (8 acres), Red Rock Terrace (7
acres) and Gravelly Meadow (5 acres). The winemaker is Phil Steinschreiber.
