The
David Coffaro Vineyard and Winery is located at the top of California's renowned
Dry Creek Valley wine region in the Sonoma County of California. David has made
wine from estate grown grapes since 1994, including: Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Carignan, Petite Sirah, Sauvignon Blanc (Late Harvest) and Estate Cuvee. Starting
in 1997, neighbors' grapes have been used to produce new unique blends.
20 acres of winegrapes are estate grown. Varieties included Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Merlot, Barbera, Carignan, Sauvignon Blanc and at least three clones of Petite Sirah.
"Hand-crafted" isn't just a trendy phrase here. David personally tends to all aspects of the winemaking, from vineyard to bottle. The results are extraordinary. Nothing is lost in the process. When you open a bottle of David Coffaro wine, you taste the fruit: Big, rich, complex and balanced!
