Baron Herzog wines are the result of an alliance between the Royal Wine Corporation, the leading importer, producer and distributor of kosher wines in the world, and Peter Stern, a UC-Davis graduate and former J. Lohr winemaker. The winery was founded in 1985 and has since received numerous reviews with high ratings in the Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits as well as the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. These wines have also won over 400 gold medals and several hundred silver medals in prestigious wine competitions such as the California State Fair and the Tasters Guild.
