Founded in 1987 ARGYLE is dedicated to making premium sparkling wines in the tradition of Champagne. The company is a partnership headed by Australia's well-known vintner Brian Croser who believes, "Oregon is one of the best places in the world to make sparkling wines".

Directed by winemaker Rollin Soles, the modern winery operations are housed in a former hazelnut processing plant in the small Willamette Valley community of Dundee. Come visit the wine tasting room located in our restored Victorian farmhouse, a Dundee City Landmark.

Argyle's parent company, The Dundee Wine Company, manages 250 acres of prime Oregon vineyards under the supervision of viticulturist Allen Holstein. The emphasis is on low yield premium grapes hand picked into small baskets to preserve fruit quality.

Argyle produces three types of vintage sparkling wines: Brut, Blanc de Blaney and Rose, hand riddled and disgorged to order. Still wines include: Dry Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris crafted by traditional methods in limited quantities.
